Our success is dependent upon the participation of the local community. We welcome all volunteers!
Community Garden Our Urban Farm is located off Romare Bearden at West Boulevard. All the fruits and vegetables grown on this quarter-acre plot return to the community. Our garden is committed to bringing healthy food to community members along the West Boulevard Corridor who need it most.
Community Engagement Help WBNC gather important information, make policy recommendations, suggest solutions to ongoing problems or challenges, and represent the opinions of the community members. Tabling and neighborhood canvassing are two common methods used by community organizations and advocacy groups to engage with community members, raise awareness about issues, and promote their causes.
Fundraising The WBNC is looking for passionate individuals to advocate for our cause. Community fundraising is a collective effort to raise money for a specific cause or organization within a community. It is a way for community members to come together and support a common goal or purpose.

Happy Holidays
WBNC will be taking an extended winter break over the next few weeks. Our last day of work will be Friday, December 19, as our team pauses to care for ourselves and be with loved ones. We look forward to reconnecting after we return on January 5, 2026.
